Volvo’s Ara Damansara 3S Centre To Launch Soon - 4 Floors, VR Experience

A new and rather tastefully imposing four storey Volvo 3S (Sales, Service, and Spare Parts) centre has been unveiled in Ara Damansara. The white monolith was designed and built to adhere to the high standards of the Volvo Retail Experience (VRE).

It stands as the newest addition to Sime Darby Motors City and will be officially launched on 20th February 2020 under the banner of Sime Darby Swedish Auto Sdn Bhd, who were appointed as Volvo’s local dealer-partner mere months ago back in October 2019. 

The ground floor, as you’d expect, will feature an expansive showroom to showcase the best from the Swedish marque’s portfolio. Spread over the second and third floors are the fully equipped and fully air conditioned service centre (a first in Malaysia) and a specialised area for vehicle paint correction and detailing. Finally, the top-most floor houses a wheel alignment and balancing zone. 

Inside, the customer experience was obviously designed around a set of very Scandanavian values and ideals, meant to deliver one that’s “contemporary” and “luxurious”. Owners also can experience the RATC Bay (Reception At The Counter) for quicker service, which is another first in a 3S centre here. 

Yet another first, and one that really emphasises its state-of-the-art status, is the VR Studio. The virtual reality experience will allow potential buyers to experience Volvo cars and the their capabilities in a far more impactful and immersive fashion. 

The new Volvo Ara Damansara 3S Centre is located at: Block 6, Sime Darby Motors City, 6 Jalan PJU 1A/7, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Alternatively, enquiries can be directed to their reception desk at 03-76233200. Once open, the centre will operate on Mondays to Saturdays between 8.30am to 5.30pm.
