VIDEO: All-New Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe Teased On Track

Mercedes gave us a premature look at their new C63 coupe via some presentation slides. Or was that merely premeditated? Actually, that was the C63 S Coupe. In either case, they’re back with a proper video teaser to fully showcase the two-door’s exterior. 

Accompanying the exterior look is the revving snarl of its 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. Which, really, makes up the bulk of this video’s appeal as we’re treated to some pretty snap transitions that getting a clear look at the whole car become an exercise in mashing the pause button.

The official reveal comes very soon, August 19^th in fact, so we won’t have to wait long until all our curious eyes are satiated. But we in Malaysia must wait until the sun makes its way over to Europe before they get things rolling.

What’s unclear though is whether Mercedes-AMG decided to leave the engine tune untampered, meaning either a 469hp or a 503hp version, mirroring the sedan. But we’ll find out soon enough. Even with those outputs, they handily outdo the competition from their closest rival, BMW's M4 and the 3.0-litre straight six with 430hp that lives under its hood.
