VIDEO: 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC Spied, Interior and Undisguised Exterior
Auto NewsThe Mercedes-Benz GLC, the upcoming SUV derived from the C-Class has been spied before. Via another video leak, however, we see an entire fleet of nearly undisguised prototypes and a clear look at the interior as well.
Mercedes-Benz is busy prepping its BMW X3 and Audi Q5 rival, by all indications.
We’ve covered the GLC while a test mule was spotted driving around the Mercedes-Benz facility in early May. The cars in this new video do look very similar to the previous look we had, which makes sense as it comes from the same uploader.
We see a clearer look at the lines of the car’s body while highlighted in this red colour, something we had trouble fully glimpsing through the camouflage previously – although the headlamps do remain covered by black strips.
With most of the car fully visible, its resemblance to the bigger and curvier Mercedes-Benz GLE becomes apparent, shedding the squared-off cues of its predecessor, the GLK.
Moving on to the interior, it has a white and black leather colour combo in this particular example but looks similar to the C-Class overall.
According to Benzinsider.com, the engine options for the GLC will follow C-Class’s lead and is expected to sport the 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 in the future AMG variant.
