The Toyota Rush, as we all know is a 7-seater SUV designed alongside the Perodua Aruz SUV. There are no price changes for the new colour, which compliments the existing four colours: white, silver metallic, blue metallic, and dark grey metallic. The Rush is priced at RM88,314 for the 1.5L ‘G’ and RM91,885 for the ‘S’ variant with current SST exemptions valid until the end of June. The Rush is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder which outputs 105PS and 136Nm at 4,200rpm sending power to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. There are no differences to the specs – with the S variant notably offering Toyota 360-T safety suite which includes Pre-collision Warning, Pre-collision Braking, Front Departure Alert, and Pedal Misoperation Control as well as front fog lights, leather upholstery, and steering wheel controls. Other standard features include Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), 6-airbags, Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA).
