The C-HR stands for Coupe-High Rider and is billed as an eye-catching combination between an SUV and Coupe which promises the best of both worlds. For the Malaysian market at least, the Toyota C-HR will slot in amongst the hugely competitive crossover market currently occupied by the Mazda CX-3 and Honda HR-V. Designed at Toyota’s European design centre, the C-HR’s interior styling represents a new 'Sensual Tech' design concept, a fresh perspective in terms of interior design which will breathe inspiration for other Toyota vehicles in the near future.The layered architecture of the of the instrument panel continues onto the door trim, which is paired alongside blue ornamentation and piano black panels to offer a stylish yet spacious cabin space.The driver orientated cabin space includes a 8" display audio touch-screen, featuring a redesigned display interface with Toyota’s (Multi-Media ’16) navigation platform and enhanced connectivity options. Toyota also claims the improved control range of the touch-screen has also allowed for fewer toggles and switches on the centre console, the upper dashboard is now considerably lower in depth, further helping driver visibility.The new two-tiered front seat design combines a sporty looking upper section which is more strongly bolstered and supportive in the lower area, these differences emphasised through the use of differing tones, textures and patterns of the upholstery.Three main interior finishes have been chosen for the Toyota C-HR, leather-like for all background surfaces, Nappa grain for all touching points and surfaces and technical grain for functional switchgear.Toyota has offered a choice of three colour combinations at the outset, which includes dark grey, Black/Blue and Black/Brown.The C-HR’s interior is also capable of being equipped with a JBL premium audio system comprising an 8-channel, 576 Watt stereo amplifier with 9-sepakers which includes two newly-patented acoustic JBL waveguides, known as horn tweeters. ✕ Let's Connect on Whatsapp We protect your personal information in compliance with the PDPA I agree with Carlist.my Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
