Tentative Specifications For Nissan NP300 Navara Revealed

Edaran Tan Chong Motor is expected to launch the all-new Nissan NP300 Navara at the end of this month. Tentative specifications of the all-new NP300 Navara can be found at np300navara.com.my.

Update: Edaran Tan Chong Motor has confirmed that the all-new Nissasn NP300 Navara will only be launched in November 2015. 

We can now confirm that the NP300 Navara will make 190 PS even with our ‘dirty’ Euro 2M diesel. The 2.5-litre common rail turbo intercooled variable geometry turbo YD25DDTi engine is carried over from the previous model, but updated to produce 190 PS at 3,600 rpm and 450 Nm at 2,000 rpm.

That’s 16 PS more than the outgoing Navara, at 400 rpm lower too. Torque is improved by 47 Nm, achieved at the same engine speed.

We can also confirm that our local Navara will come fitted with multi-link rear suspension rather than the leaf springs fitted on the Thailand market models.

Transmission options are a six-speed manual and a 7-speed automatic.

Other features highlighted in the teaser website are LED headlamps with daytime running lights, ‘zero gravity’ seats, vehicle dynamic control, hill descent control, hill start assist, rear air-conditioning vents.

There was no mention of the airbag count, but it will not be more than two (else, it would have been mentioned at the teaser page).
