Home News Auto News Singapore 2019: Lexus Launches UX, 4 Variants, From SGD 149,800 Singapore 2019: Lexus Launches UX, 4 Variants, From SGD 149,800 Auto News Aswan | January 10, 2019 04:27 pm The crossover market is growing at a worryingly quick pace, and Lexus has decided to put their own dog in the fight in the form of the Lexus UX. It’s designed to fight against cars like the BMW X1, Audi Q2, and Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class, and it has finally made its ASEAN debut at the 2019 Singapore Motor Show. It’s being launched with two powertrains and two trim levels for a total of four possible variants. There’s the UX 200 which is powered by Lexus’ new naturally aspirated 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, which pushes 169 hp and 205 Nm of torque. We saw this particular variant during the 2018 Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show, and it’s also the most likely powertrain for our market. Pricing for the local Lexus UX is still to be confirmed, but it will be launching this year. There is also the UX 250h which is the more potent hybrid model that combines the naturally aspirated engine with a hybrid motor for a combined output of 176 hp. It is the higher-spec model offered over in Singapore, and apart from the hybrid powertrain, the only spec advantage it possesses is the addition of a Nano-E Minus Ion Generator (an air purifier of sorts).Moving on to the trim levels, buyers have a choice of Executive or Luxury. Either trim option is fairly extensive with things like LED headlamps and daytime running lights being standard across the range, as well keyless entry, heads up displays, a 10.3” entertainment system with the Lexus Premium Audio 8-speaker system, and so on.But if you do choose to spring for the more expensive trim package, you will also get:LED Illuminated GearknobElectrically Adjustable Steering Wheel with MemorySmooth Leather Seats with Memory and VentilationElectro Chromic Rear View MirrorPanoramic View MonitorBlind Spot MonitorPricing for the Lexus UX starts at SGD 149,800 for the UX 200 Executive, while the UX 200 Luxury fetches SGD 160,800. There’s no word on pricing of the UX 250h yet but you can expect it to be a dear bit more as hybrid models are truly the most expensive variants in any model range – outside of Malaysia, that is. ✕ Let's Connect on Whatsapp We protect your personal information in compliance with the PDPA I agree with Carlist.my Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
