'Selangor Ku' Free Bus Ride Service Launched

After Kuala Lumpur and Penang, Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd today began operation of its free bus service ‘Selangor Ku’ for the state, which involves the three main routes in Selangor.

Launched by YB Dato' Teng Chang Khim who is the Selangor Investment, Industry (SME) & Commerce and Transportation chairman, the service will utilise Rapid KL buses from the Shah Alam depot. The routes covered include Shah Alam, Klang, and Subang Jaya.

The services daily operating hours start from 6am until 9pm with an operational frequency of 15 minutes for all three routes.

For the Shah Alam route, it is between the Section 19 KTM Komuter station and Wisma Jakel in Seksyen 7, covering 20.2km.

In Klang, the free bus services involves a looping route of 8.5km that starts and ends at Wisma Tahfiz.

As for Subang Jaya, the route starts from the Subang Jaya KTM Komuter station and heads towards USJ 6 and Station 7 of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)–Sunway Line which began last month.
