Second Generation Nissan Leaf Spotted Without Camouflage

While Tesla may be stirring up the electric car market for the Model 3, perhaps it's time instead to focus on the second generation Nissan Leaf. Succeeding the surprisingly popular electric hatchback, this second generation model is poised to integrate a lot of new technologies for a more exciting drive. 

Just last week, an uncamouflaged second generation Nissan Leaf was spotted in Spain during a commercial shoot. These pictures are from the Norwegian TV2's Broom program, which were taken by a reader who had been staying in a hotel near the shoot and spotted the car. 

It looks a lot sharper than the current model, especially in this two-tone colour scheme. This, combined with improvements in battery technology and driver assistance systems, could become a serious contender in the electric car market. While the Tesla Model 3 may have sex appeal, the Nissan Leaf will remain as an electric car for the people.
