According to a news report by The Star, Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai was quoted to say that a second electric bus BRT line between Istana Negara and Klang is the works. The hope is to ease traffic congestion on the Federal Highway by allowing motorist an alternative to driving. But while the first BRT Sunway line that’s elevated above, the new line is expected to be on ground level. To do this, it’s been expected that road dividers would have to make way for the new bus-only lanes.
