Renault To Reveal New Global Crossover Model In Moscow Next Month
Auto NewsRenault has announced that it will be revealing an all-new C-segment crossover at the upcoming 2018 Moscow Motor Show in August.
The model, which was teased in an image released by Renault yesterday, will most likely be based on the Renault Kaptur, a larger version of the Captur compact SUV which is available only in Russia.
Yet to be named, the new crossover will be built at Renault’s plant in Moscow and launched in Russia first, with other markets around the globe to follow.
From what we can see, the crossover features Renault’s latest design language, with C-shaped daytime running lights that join seamlessly join the headlights, just like the front end of the new Megane.
Some sources say that it could be a ‘coupe’ version of the Kaptur, featuring a low-slung roof and sportier visual appearance.
According to Renault, the vehicle which will be revealed at the Moscow Motor Show will still be a ‘show car’ and not the finished production model, though it will be an extremely close preview.
More details are to be revealed closer to its premiere next month.
