Home News Auto News Post SST: New Prices For Nissan Models, Navara Continue To Enjoy Zero GST Post SST: New Prices For Nissan Models, Navara Continue To Enjoy Zero GST Auto News Siew Weng | September 13, 2018 10:10 pm Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM), the sole distributor of Nissan vehicles in Malaysia, has just announced the new pricing for its Nissan models inclusive of 10% Sales Tax, in line with the Government’s Sales and Service Tax (SST) implementation effective from 1st September 2018.The updated model line-up list, which only includes locally-assembled passenger cars, see a reduction in SST-based prices compared to GST-based prices. The fully imported Navara pickup meanwhile continue to enjoy the zero-GST prices, until the company exhaust its stocks. No updates yet on the NV200 commercial van and NV350 Urvan window van.In conjunction with the Malaysia Day festive period, ETCM also introduced its ‘Malaysia Day Bonus’ campaign with attractive rebates up to RM 8,000 for selected Nissan models. With the promotion, the popular Nissan X-Trail 2.0 can be had for RM126,800, while the fully-loaded Navara VL Plus can be had for under RM112,000. The campaign is only available for the month of September.All passenger-car Nissan models with private registration include a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty. The Nissan Navara pickup, however, has its warranty coverage capped to 5-year or 150,000-kilometre mileage.
