These more powerful variants, as standard for Porsche models carrying that designation, are also equipped with other enhancements to driving dynamics. As for prices, the Boxster GTS starts at RM660,000, while the Cayman GTS starts at RM700,000.The GTS badge is given to models that are developed to perform on the track as well as be a spectacle on the street. Both these GTS iterations have a 3.4-litre flat 6-cylinder boxer engine. The Boxster GTS produces 330hp and 370Nm or torque while the Cayman GTS produces 340hp and 380Nm of torque – an additional 15hp and 10Nm for both models over their equivalent S variant engines. The included Sport Chrono package comes with 6-speed manual or the optional Porsche 7-speed PDK double clutch transmission. With the Sport Plus button activated, a PDK-equipped Boxster GTS needs just 4.4 seconds to perform the century sprint while the Cayman GTS gets there a hair quicker at 4.3 seconds. A manual transmission option allows both cars to reach a higher individual top speed, however, with the Boxster GTS topping out at 280km/h and 285km/h for the Cayman GTS.The Boxster GTS and Cayman GTs also feature visual flourishes that place it higher in the Porsche food chain than those in the more common S tier, offering blacked-out Bi-Xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), 20-inch Carrera S wheels riding on 235/35 front and 265/35 rear tyres, and a sports exhaust system with black tailpipes. Both GTS models also come with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard, enabling the driver to choose from, in Sport mode, a sportier ride and response when the mood should strike, or a more comfortable and cosseting driving experience in Comfort mode.Inside, the cars feature an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, headliner, centre console, and sports seats. GTS nomenclature is also embroidered into the headrests and displayed within the tachometer.Below you'll find more picture of the Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS at the Malaysian launch event, as well as the official promotional pictures from Porsche of both cars. ✕ Let's Connect on Whatsapp We protect your personal information in compliance with the PDPA I agree with Carlist.my Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
