Perodua Launches Bezza GXtra - From RM 35,500

Taking advantage of the large expected crowd turnout during the Malaysia Autoshow 2018, Perodua has launched the Bezza GXtra - a 1.0-litre variant that gets enhanced looks and a new colour. The GXtra variant will replace the 1.0 Standard G variant.

It's being introduced at a price of RM 35,500 for the manual and RM 37,500 for the automatic, on-the-road without insurance and inclusive of a five-year, 150,000 kilometre warranty. 

Most notable of the changes are the side skirts and chrome door handles, as well as the Ocean Blue colour that was previously reserved for 1.3-litre variants of the Bezza. The interior sees a classier dashboard and piano black finishing, as well as an uprated audio system with Bluetooth connectivity.

Air-vent surrounds, the steering wheel spokes, and gear lever base are finished in satin, complementing the chrome interior door handles as well. In short, it's the creature comforts and tactile feel of a higher end model with the pricing fitting of an entry-level label. 

The GXtra variant is meant to be a new entry-level model, and as such comes with the 1.0-litre 1KR-VE engine with VVT-i. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic.

Since the launch of the Bezza in the middle of 2016, more than 100,000 units across all variants have found homes, and with this better-equipped entry level variant there are bound to more eager customers.
