Nissan Juke-R Nismo To Be Revealed At Goodwood Festival

This year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Nissan Juke-R Nismo will be unveiled, claiming supercar-beating performance in crossover SUV body.

Back in 2012 at the Paris Motor Show, the Nissan Juke-R was unveiled to the world. Initially not for sale, the car maker has since then announced only a total of 21 units will be produced. As the ‘-R’ in the name suggests, Nissan has managed to shoehorn the GT-R’s 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 engine into it, delivering 485hp and 588Nm of torque. 0-100 km/h is accomplished in just 3.7 seconds.

This time, Nissan has called upon its skunkworks division which is more commonly known as Nismo who aren’t new to making Nissan’s go just that bit faster. The car maker say that in the latest Juke-R Nismo, they will be “using the latest technology, styling and running gear from Nismo products.” This sole teaser image released does reveal a styling makeover with larger air intakes, a hood that resembles that from the Nissan GT-R, and flared wheel arches.

No other details have been provided but with Nismo fiddling around on the already mental Juke-R, expect even more power than before and a lower century sprint time. All done in a crossover SUV body.
