Earlier, during the Carlist.my DRIVE event, Honda Malaysia previewed the upcoming Jazz in hybrid form. For Thailand, their new range-topping Honda Jazz is the RS variant, featuring a sportier design that includes a new front grille with RS emblem, RS front and rear bumpers, black side mirrors and two new colours, Phoenix Orange Pearl and White Orchid Pearl. Inside, the sporty Jazz RS receives new seat covers with orange stitching. Other features include a multi-info display (MID), touch panel air-conditioning, push start button, infotainment system with a 6.8-inch touchscreen and a multi-function steering wheel. The Honda Jazz's signature Ultra Seats are also present.Engine and transmission remain unchanged, with power coming from a 1.5-litre SOHC i-VTEC petrol engine that outputs 117 hp and 146 Nm, mated to an Earth Dreams Technology CVT. The new Honda Jazz RS also comes equipped with paddle shift, cruise control and ECO assist. For Thailand, the engine is E85 gasohol biofuel compatible. Available in six colours, Taffeta White, Modern Steel Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, White Orchid Pearl, and Phoenix Orange Pearl, the 2017 Honda Jazz receives six airbags, VSA, HSA, ABS with EBD and a rear view camera.
