Nasim Sdn Bhd Announces Peugeot Protect For Improved Customer Ownership Experience

Nasim Sdn Bhd, the official distributor for Peugeot vehicles in Malaysia has introduced Peugeot Protect, a new initiative to make the customer ownership experience even better.

Peugeot Protect is a five year protection plan for all Peugeot vehicles and is exclusive to new owners. What makes it different?

Well, a standard motor insurance policy will never cover the original purchase price of a car should an unwanted incident like theft, accidents, fire, flood, or natural disasters occur, which results in a total loss of a vehicle.

However, Peugeot Protect, which is backed by Axa and Affin Bank, will address this issue by covering the difference in value between the Peugeot’s purchase price and the decreased value insured by the motor insurance policy.

This ensures that, in the event of a total loss, customers will not need to bear the burden of paying for the uninsured outstanding value of their vehicle. Instead, they will be able to simply replace their lost vehicle with a brand new Peugeot and resume life as usual.

“As the first automotive distributor in Malaysia offering this coverage across the model range, our customers can rest easy knowing their vehicles have this extra layer of security. Peugeot Protect can be utilised anytime within the five year period. It covers the difference between the motor insurance pay-out restoring the original purchase price of the vehicle,” said Dato’ Samson Anand George, Chief Operating Officer of Nasim Sdn Bhd.

During the introductory stage from 1 July to 31 July, 2015, customers who purchase models from the Peugeot 3008, 5008, and new 508 range will be entitled to a free Peugeot Protect plan where Nasim Sdn Bhd will cover the cost of premium during this one month special promotion period.
