MINI Malaysia Introduces the MINI JCW Pro Edition

Limited to just 20 units for Malaysia, and with power boosted to 211 hp, the MINI 5-door JCW Pro Edition is dubbed as the loudest and most powerful MINI 5-door.

The car receives the JCW Pro Aerodynamic Kit, which features a front splitter, side skirts, rear bumper and rear spoiler. Complementing the racy style is a set 18 inch MINI JCW Pro Cross-Spoke light alloy wheels finished in Jet Black. The wheels are shod in run-flat tyres which allows a driving range of 80km at 80km/h even with a puncture.

Further visual expression comes in the form JCW Pro Roof Décor, a unique red and black chequered roof graphic which compliments JCW Pro Wing Mirror Caps and Side Scuttles along the flanks of the car.

Extra horsepower is provided by a JCW Pro Tuning Kit which lists an engine management update and a tuned exhaust system to optimise engine response and boost power figures. The output is now 211 bhp, up by 19 bhp from 192 bhp, while torque is increased by 20Nm to 300Nm.

The valve silencer is also offered with Carbon-tailpipe trim and features two switchable modes to compliment the driving style. ‘Sport’ which offers a fruity exhaust note for everyday driving while ‘Track’ which delivers the full shout, crackle and pop treatment for enthusiastic driving. The exhaust flap is operated wirelessly via two clicks of the Bluetooth 4.0 controller.

The new MINI JCW Pro Edition is made available exclusively in Midnight Black Metallic, replete with the MINI 4-Year unlimited mileage warranty with free scheduled service program.
