Mercedes-Benz Releases Official Sketch Of Upcoming Concept GLC Coupé

Mercedes-Benz has released this official sketch of the upcoming GLC Coupé, scheduled to be unveiled in concept form at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show later this month. The brand say that the Concept GLC Coupé when revealed, is a near-production standard design study.

What you’re looking at here is a four-door crossover SUV with coupe-like lines that will go up against the BMW X4 that has already been launched earlier. The GLC Coupé would be the second bodystyle for the GLK replacement, following Mercedes-Benz’s new naming nomenclature.

Take note that unlike its predecessor, the GLC Coupé will be produced in right-hand drive which could see the vehicle make its way here in the future once it makes its way to production.

With the recent introduction of the GLE-Class, GLE-Class Coupé and GLA-Class, the GLC Coupé will slot in between that gap in the brand’s portfolio of vehicles.
