Malaysia’s Largest Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Centre Opens, Over 100 Vehicles On Display

Hap Seng Star, together with Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, has just unveiled the largest standalone certified pre-owned centre in Malaysia. The company’s pre-owned business unit, which was known as Proven Exclusivity, has also been rebranded to Mercedes-Benz Certified.

The 46,210 square feet facility located at Bandar Kinrara Industrial Park, Puchong, Selangor, is the second Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-owned Centre opened by Hap Seng Star. The company opened their first certified pre-owned centre in Hap Seng Star Balakong Autohaus two years ago.

With an investment of RM41.6 million, the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-owned Centre by Hap Seng Star Kinrara is able to display over 100 vehicles and is managed by a team of 24 persons to deliver a complete one-stop solution in sales and financial services.

The Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-owned centre is also equipped with air-conditioned delivery bays, a café, children’s playground as well as a wide variety of lifestyle products for owners as well as Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts.   

So what constitutes a certified pre-owned Mercedes-Benz? Vehicles under the Mercedes-Benz certified programme are sourced exclusively from authorized Mercedes-Benz Malaysia dealers. Among the key restrictions are:

• Age and mileage: Not older than six years old and under 125,000 kilometres
• Service history: Full servicing and maintenance history by authorized Mercedes-Benz service centres with only original parts used

Selected vehicles then undergo a strict and thorough quality scrutiny and verification process:

• A 215 multi-point inspection that includes exterior, interior, engine components, electrical systems as well as a road test
• Guaranteed true mileage
• Full servicing and maintenance history

Apart from the attractive prices, Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia has also introduced a new financial product called the Young Star Agility Financing, specifically targeting customers purchasing vehicles from the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-owned fleet.
