Lotus Exige 360 Cup Revealed With More Power, Less Weight

This is the Lotus Exige 360 Cup, the latest creation from the British sports car manufacturer together with its Motorsport division.

Based on the Exige V6 Cup, this limited-run model will see only 50 examples being made with prices starting at prices starting at £62,995 (RM400,143) including 20% tax.

The Exige 360 Cup gains a few extras from the car it is based on. For instance, the 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine now produces 360PS, which is 10PS more. Combined with the car’s weight of just 1,130kg and a sportier soundtrack from the powertrain, Lotus say that the car will offer an incredibly enhanced driving experience.

Other bits which the Lotus Exige 360 Cup retains from the Exige V6 Cup is its track proven aero package (front splitter, rear diffuser, flat underside, and wing) that offers 42kg of downforce at 160km/h, and its lightweight bonded aluminium chassis, featuring double wishbone all round with two-way adjustable dampers and a four-mode dynamic system plus launch control.

On the outside, the Exige 360 Cup receives unique touches as well with a bespoke lightweight front access panel, new lightweight rear tailgate, and louvered panel. It also sports updated grooved brake discs, Motorsport Red wheels, embroidered seats and dash panel.

Customers can also specify their car with options that include a new red Alcantara interior, adjustable anti-roll bars, Öhlins race dampers, fire extinguisher and electrical cut-off, FIA carbon seats, air conditioning and, a removable steering wheel.

As with all Lotus Motorsport Cup models the Exige 360 Cup is eligible for the Lotus Cup race series.
