Home News Auto News Limited Edition Mazda 3 Racing Series Now Available In Thailand Limited Edition Mazda 3 Racing Series Now Available In Thailand Auto News Gerard | March 18, 2015 06:17 pm If yesterday’s news that Bermaz will be introducing its locally-assembled (CKD) Mazda 3 SkyActiv in both sedan and hatchback variants wasn’t enough to whet your appetite, this just might do the trick. Meet the limited-edition Mazda 3 Racing Series, a visually enhanced version of the regular M3 that we wish we could have but unfortunately, we can’t because it is only sold in Thailand.Based on the 2.0C Sports (hatchback) and 2.0C (sedan) variants, the Racing Series is available in both bodystyles to choose from. The asking price? 968,000 baht (RM 108,831) if you want it in Snowflake White Pearl and 973,000 baht (RM 109,325) if Soul Red is what tickles your fancy (we liked this better). The mechanicals here remain the same, with the SkyActiv-G 2.0-litre engine and SkyActiv-DRIVE six-speed torque converter automatic. That leaves most of the changes to be cosmetic in nature starting with a full bodykit coated in contrasting black paint that consists of a front bumper lip, side skirts, and a slightly extended rear bumper. Made to match are the side mirrors, also finished in black.(click to expand)Moving on to the rear, the sedan gets a small boot lip spoiler whereas the other has one on its hatch. As a compliment, 18-inch alloy wheels are fitted as well in Gun Metallic and rounding things off are stickers that made an appearance at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon on other models including the CX-3 and Mazda 2.(click to expand)The cabin also receives a few changes as well. Red inserts can now be found on the leathers seats along with red stitching, and the word ‘Racing’ embossed on the front headrests. To remind your front passenger that he or she is in a Racing Series Mazda 3, a ‘Racing’ emblem can be found on the dashboard trim near the left air-conditioning vent. ✕ Let's Connect on Whatsapp We protect your personal information in compliance with the PDPA I agree with Carlist.my Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
