Lexus Comes Top In J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study For 7th Year Running
Auto NewsOf all the luxury nameplates on sale in the U.S., Lexus is the one that comes out on top when it comes to vehicle dependability - for seven straight years. In J.D. Power's annual Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS), four Lexus vehicles and two Toyota vehicles took top spots in their respective segments.
For Lexus, the RX earned its ninth VDS award; the GS earned its sixth VDS award; and the ES earned the Compact Premium Car award for the seventh straight year.

For Toyota, the Prius received its eighth VDS award and the Tacoma (a Toyota pickup truck) received its fourth VDS award.
