Koenigsegg Teases Us With Another Mega Car: The “Regera” Cometh
Auto NewsOkay, so, if you thought the Koenigsegg One:1 was the pinnacle of this Swedish brand, Christian von Koenigsegg certainly has different ideas.

The One:1 was mega impressive with its 1PS of power for every kilogram the car weighed (1,360PS, 1,360kg), but now, it seems like a replacement is in order, and it comes this March, at the Geneva Motor Show.
Very little is known of the Koenigsegg Regera, apart from the rumour mill suggestion that the added “Reg” to the beginning of the familiar “Agera” nameplate likely stands for some sort of “regenerative” methods applied: be it regenerative braking or so, making this a sort of hybrid-powered vehicle. Cause being, to more accurately face-off against the hybrid-powered McLaren P1, Porsche 918 and Ferrari La Ferrari?
Also, that Koenigsegg are calling this a “Megacar” after bestowing the same rank to its One:1 is likely a sign of the Regera boasting as much performance/ power as the previous.
Another model headed for its motor show debut will be the Koenigsegg Agera RS, something that was teased earlier this month.
More details come to the Geneva Motor Show, then.
