JPJ, Puspakom, APAD Counters Re-Opened, But Not In EMCO Areas
Auto NewsThe Ministry of Transport for JPJ, Puspakom, and APAD have now amended their June 30th statement to reopen counter services under Phase One of the National Recovery Plan for transactions or services that are not available online.
Following the announcement at the end of the last week that a number of areas within Selangor and Kuala Lumpur will be placed under Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) from July 3rd to July 16th, the Transport Ministry has now clarified the extent to which transport agencies such as JPJ, APAD, JLM, and Puspakom are allowed to operate.
These agencies will proceed to offer in-person counter services start from July 1st but will only limit the staff count to 50 percent normal capacity and will only entertain scheduled appointments. No walk-in service will be allowed.
