The punishing off-road expedition through some of the most challenging terrain will have over 250 vehicles in convoy through the eight-day journey. And leading that charge is the Isuzu D-Max on point duty. This year’s Borneo Safari was officiated in Kota Kinabalu by Sabah’s Tourism Cultural and Environment Minister, YB Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun. Following the flag off, the participants will be taking on the wilds of the state’s highland interior near Tenom and Keningau. This is the ninth year in a row that members of the media are able to experience and document the expedition. They will be ferried along with the convoy in their own Isuzu D-Max.
