Images of the Zeekr X surfaces - now that's one good-looking EV

Auto News

Since its launch in 2021, the Chinese EV brand Zeekr has quickly added more cars to its lineup of vehicles, with the latest one being a small hatchback/SUV by the name of Zeekr X.

The EV carmaker published the first images of its third model recently, which they say will be making its debut at the upcoming  Auto China show in Shanghai in April.

According to electrive.com, the model will be available in China before the end of the year and will most likely also be sold in Europe, but at a later date.

The a-segment SUV measures about 4400 mm in length and 1800 mm in width, which makes it roughly around the same size as the BYD Atto 3. What's more interesting about the pictured vehicle is that it has no door handles, and that electrive.com said that the car would come with a frameless rearview mirror.

The Zeekr X is built on Geely's SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform, which is already serving in their other two cars, the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr 009 MPV. It is also used in Smart's #1 and a host of other Geely-associated vehicles like the upcoming Lotus EV.

Zeekr are keeping details about the car close their chest, but it has been suggested that the third car from Zeekr will be made available with similar powertrain options as the Smart #1, either coming with a single-motor, rear-wheel drive and dual-motor or all-wheel drive setups.
