Handover Marks Launch of New Isuzu Cement Mixer Truck

In support of thriving local construction industry, Isuzu Malaysia recently delivered two units of the newly introduced Isuzu GIGA FXZ360 (cement mixer truck) to Hamzah Ibir Sdn. Bhd., a Terengganu-based construction company. 

The GIGA FXZ360 is powered by the 9.8-litre 6UZ1-TCC six-cylinder turbodiesel engine, delivering 360 Ps and 1,422 Nm of torque. All that energy is transferred to the 6x4 drivetrain through a 9-speed ZF gearbox that also feature a flywheel power take-off (PTO) unit.

The new truck also features a cab design that is aerodynamic together with an ergonomically designed instrument panel and equipped with various UNECE safety features.

Dato Haji Khaidir, Managing Director of Hamzah Ibir Sdn. Bhd., said the launch of the much-anticipated mixer truck by Isuzu is timely, in view of the rapid construction and development projects the company is currently undertaking. Hamzah Ibir procured their new assets from Dynamic Motors Sdn. Bhd., an Isuzu authorized dealer located in Kuantan. 

Dato Haji Khaidir added that Isuzu trucks became its preferred vehicle brand due to various factors including fuel efficiency as well as excellent after-sales service.

Isuzu Malaysia’s CEO, Koji Nakamura meanwhile, stated that the new Isuzu GIGA FXZ360 is an important step for the company’s quest to offer a full range of commercial vehicle products.

With the launch of the GIGA FXZ360, Isuzu Malaysia now offers a complete product line-up to meet the growing demand for high quality, reliable and fuel efficient trucks, ranging from the Isuzu ELF light-duty truck series, followed by Isuzu FORWARD medium-duty truck series and Isuzu GIGA heavy-duty truck series.
