Genting van crash - seventh victim succumbed to injuries
Auto NewsA tourist van that crashed yesterday afternoon in Genting Highlands has claimed its seventh victim.
Out of the 14 individuals that were involved in the incident, six people were pronounced dead at the scene. The seventh victim, which was the co-driver of the van, was taken to the Hospital Kuala Lumpur along with six other victims but sadly, he passed away while receiving medical treatment, the Star reported.
Tourist van crashed into road divider

A total of 12 women and two male drivers went to Genting Highlands from Penang but on their way down, the driver lost control of the vehicle before crashing into the road divider. Investigations by the authorities are still underway to determine the cause of the accident.
The incident took place near KM4.8 of Jalan Genting Highlands at around 1.15 pm based on the distress call received by the Pahang Fire and Rescue Department. The tour group is said to be from Kulim, Kedah.
