Home News Auto News Geneva 2017: Skoda Kodiaq Sportline 7-Seater SUV To Debut Geneva 2017: Skoda Kodiaq Sportline 7-Seater SUV To Debut Auto News Arvind | January 31, 2017 12:50 pm A more aggressive looking version of Skoda’s first ever seven-seater SUV, the Kodiaq, will make its word debut at the upcoming 2017 Geneva International Motor Show in March. The Kodiaq Sportline variant will offer more aggressive styling and more advanced assistance and infotainment systems.The Škoda Kodiaq Sportline will feature model-specific front and rear sections, matched with a choice of 19- or 20-inch wheels, to showcase a more dynamic and exciting of the SUV. At the front – the radiator grille, roof rails, wing mirror housings and side window trims all come in black.Along the flanks, the protective side trims of the Sportline are body-coloured. The vehicle is offered with 19-inch alloy wheels in a special new design as standard or as an option, 20-inch wheels are also available.Round the back, the rear window and rear side windows are tinted, while the rear overhang is enhanced by a narrow, silver-coloured trim below the bumper.On the inside, Kodiaq Sportline is equipped with sports seats (driver’s side electronically adjustable including memory function) with Alcantara covers and silver-coloured stitching. The Sportline variant also offers infotainment display which includes G-forces, turbo pressure, current engine output and the temperature of the oil and coolant.Additionally, the Sportsline variant adds powered folding mirrors with ‘auto-dip’ function and a LED ambient lighting for the interior which can be set to one of ten colours.The Sportline variant is offered with a choice of two petrol and two diesel powered engines. Turbocharged 1.4-litre and 2.0-litre engines produce 150PS and 180PS respectively. The 2.0-litre petrol helps the Kodiaq Sportline to an 8.0 second 0-100km/h sprint. The two 2.0-litre diesel engines are offered in 150PS and 190PS power output levels respectively.The Škoda Kodiaq Sportline is available with all-wheel drive as standard. As an option, the Sportline is offered Adaptive Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) and active dampers can be set by the driver to one of three modes, Comfort, Normal and Sport.The top-of-the-range Kodiaq Sportline will also enlist a Columbus navigation system, 9.2-inch touchscreen monitor, a Wi-Fi hotspot and an LTE module.
