Geneva 2017: Renault Captur Facelift World Debut
Auto NewsThe Renault Group’s product offensive at the ongoing 2017 Geneva Motor show, from launches of their all-new pickup truck, an electric sports car and perhaps most importantly, the facelifted Renault Captur crossover.
First introduced in 2013, the facelifted Captur boasts a visual update and the addition of more functional features. New Captur includes the new face of Renault with its C-shaped light graphics, the treatment has also been extended to the tail lamps. Some variants are now offered with a fixed-glass roof to light up the cabin space.
Renault have also added far more customisation options. There are 30 exterior paint combinations and six interior colour packages to choose from now.
Renault has also added a premium Bose sound system for music lovers – connected to the latest generation of the R-Link infotainment system, which is now compatible with Android Auto. Added active safety features now include Easy park assist, Front park assist and new blind spot warning.
Renault also introduces an “Initiale Paris” version that shows Renault expertise in upper range cars: it comes with an exclusive Black Amethyst colour; special 17-inch alloys, chrome details and premium materials such as Nappa leather seats.
