Home News Auto News Geneva 2017: Mercedes-AMG to Celebrate 50th Anniversary with 3 Unique Models Geneva 2017: Mercedes-AMG to Celebrate 50th Anniversary with 3 Unique Models Auto News Gokul | February 23, 2017 04:24 pm Mercedes-Benz’s performance division is turning 50 this year, and what better way to celebrate the big occasion than by releasing three sexy special models, right?All set to make their big debut at the Geneva motor show, the three models are:Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster Edition 50C63 S Cabriolet Ocean Blue EditionC43 4Matic Cabriolet Night EditionAccording to the folks at Stuttgart, all of the models above will feature unique colour and trim combinations along with individual design touches and an extended range of standard equipment over their standard siblings.As for the rear-wheel drive GT C Roadster Edition 50, it is said that the car will only be produced in a limited run of 500 units.The roadster is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine which delivers 549bhp, and can be ordered in either grey magno or design cashmere white finish. The car’s new soft top also receives darkened chromed exterior elements, alongside darkened forged alloy wheels.Inside, the car sports a combination of black and silver leather for the seats and centre console together with touches from AMG’s existing Interior Night Package, with the steering wheel spokes, shift paddles and door sill panels in black.The contrasting colour theme is continued with silver seat belts and black chrome trim elements.
