Frankfurt 2017: Mercedes-AMG Project ONE Hypercar Teased Ahead Of Premiere
Auto NewsThe Mercedes-AMG Project ONE will celebrate its world premiere at the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt which starts tomorrow, just ahead of its launch – Mercedes-AMG has teased parts of the car in a collection of short videos.
The Project ONE hybrid hypercar will be the first commercially available vehicle with a Formula 1 hybrid powertrain and road approval, capable of being used on a day-to-day basis.
And the latest video (below) shows the clearest view yet of the front of the Project ONE.
The F1 hybrid drivetrain will be accompanied by a purely electric and wheel selective front axle drive concept, making the Project ONE an all-wheel drive vehicle, expected to develop a combined system power in the region of 1,000hp and have a top speed exceeding 350 km/h.
