Frankfurt 2017: BMW Z4 Concept - Drop Top Beauty

First previewed at the Pebble Beach Concours a month ago, the BMW Z4 Concept makes its first European appearance at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.

From the outside, the BMW Z4 Concept gets an elongated hood with a short overhang leading to a sharknose front grille, while strong character lines are found on the sides. Coated in a shade of paint called Energetic Orange, the BMW Z4 Concept will be sharing its platform with the upcoming Toyota Supra.

The interior of the BMW Z4 Concept featured a cockpit that is angled towards the driver. On top of that, the body colour is also reflected in the interior of the BMW Z4 Concept, with the driver and passenger seat featuring contrasting colours. 

Codenamed G29, BMW is expected to introduce the new generation Z4 some time next year. Toyota is also primed to introduce its Supra equivalent next year. Both companies will be offering a range of engines for the duo, as reported earlier.
