Ford offering up to RM10,000 cash rebates for CNY

Chinese New Year promotions and cash rebates are all the rage at the moment, and the most recent company to hop on the bandwagon is Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC), the local distributor of Ford vehicles. 

SDAC announced it is offering cash rebates of up to RM10,000 on selected Ford vehicles from now through 31 March through the ‘Ford CNY Promo’. To be specific, those who opt for the Fiesta can get up to RM10,000 of cash rebates, while those who purchase the EcoSport can get up to RM5,000. Last but not least, the Kuga SUV also comes with up to RM3,000 cash rebate. Unfortunately, there has not been any word on rebates for the Ranger or the Focus.

• Ford Fiesta - Up to RM10,000 cash rebate
• Ford EcoSport - Up to RM5,000 cash rebate
• Ford Kuga - Up to 3,000 cash rebate
• Ford Ranger - No promotion 
• Ford Focus - No promotion

Cash rebates aside, Ford Malaysia also said that it is offering a special service promotion to customers from now until 15 February, where owners who bring their vehicle to a Ford dealership for service or maintenance will receive a free 27-point vehicle health check by a Ford-certified technician.

In addition, Ford is offering up to 20 per cent off labour and parts for many of its service packages, and customers who spend more than RM300 will receive exclusive Ford merchandise.

That is not all. Anyone who test drives a new Ford from 16 to 24 January is entitled to receive a free car boot organiser, and those who place bookings within this period will also receive a Ford umbrella and a handy seat hook/organiser.

During the same period, Ford is running a fun ‘Count The Kam’ contest. For a chance to win 200,000 AirAsia Big Points and other prizes, Ford fans can visit the SDAC PJ2 Showroom and guess the total number of mandarin oranges filling the EcoSport, take a selfie with the vehicle, and upload it to the Ford Malaysia Facebook page at www.facebook.com/FordMalaysia. People can also choose to join by guessing directly from the photos uploaded by Ford on the page.
