Sime Darby Auto Connexion, the distributor of Ford vehicles in Malaysia has confirmed that the Ranger and Everest - both new and existing models - are compatible with B10 biodiesel.
This applies to the Panther 2.0-litre engine (Ranger Raptor and Ranger Wildtrak) and Puma 2.2-litre and 3.2-litre engines (Ranger XL and XLT, and Everest).
Since 1-February, the Malaysian government has increased the palm oil blend in our regular Euro 2M diesel fuel from 7 percent (B7) to 10 percent (B10). The higher grade Euro 5 diesel will remain as B7.
Compatibility of existing vehicles with B10 is a concern and unless the manufacturer of your vehicle has confirmed that the engine is compatible with B10, it is recommended that drivers refuel their vehicle with Euro 5 diesel, which remains B7.
