Home News Auto News Facelifted Range Rover Evoque Launched in Malaysia Facelifted Range Rover Evoque Launched in Malaysia Auto News Daniel Wong | January 08, 2016 02:38 pm Jaguar-Land Rover Malaysia (JLRM) has officially introduced the Range Rover Evoque facelift on our shores. Available as the Si4 guise, with the 240hp/340Nm 2-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission, the Evoque is priced at RM430,000 (GST inclusive, without road tax, registration, and insurance). Facelift changes on the Evoque amounts to a cleaner front bumper design and an updated front grille, Xenon lighting with new LED daytime running lights, new taillights, fog lamps, and a new tailgate spoiler with an integrated third brake light. On the inside, the Evoque now comes with an 8-inch touchscreen that is powered by InControl Touch, new front seats and door casings, as well as a redesigned instrument cluster.For the Malaysian market, the Evoque Si4 will come specified with 12-way electric seats for front occupants, and the “Powered Gesture” tailgate which allows users to open the tailgate automatically by waving their foot under the rear bumper. In addition to that, customers can now specify the Evoque to come with a fixed panoramic roof as an option.As expected of a Land Rover, the Evoque comes with Terrain Response system which adjusts vehicle steering, throttle response, gearbox, centre-coupling and braking/stability systems to the system’s four settings for tackling specific terrain.
