Dyson Details Broad Strokes For Electric Car In Registered Patent

Yes, it's the same Dyson that makes vacuum cleaners, hairdryers, and cool looking stand fans. Patents are usually a good way to see what companies are going to get up to ahead of the their actual fully developed products, but we have been mislead numerous times before in the past - especially with things like Porsche's variable compression ratio patent that still hasn't seen the light of day.

Unfortunately, the patents awarded only reveal fairly broad strokes in terms of the design. Dyson is mulling larger wheels for efficiency, a low centre of gravity for better handling, and fully reclining seats. This doesn't really tell us much because that could describe most any car on the market these days, let alone an electric car.
