Detroit 2017: Honda To Debut All-New North American-market Only Honda Odyssey

Honda is set to debut an all-new fifth generation North American market Honda Odyssey at the coming 2017 North American International Auto Show, which opens on 9-January.

Despite the familiar Odyssey name, the model referred to here should not be associated with the Japanese market Honda Odyssey that is also sold in Malaysia. Predominantly sold in USA and Canada, the North American market Honda Odyssey features a different styling and is powered by a larger 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine.

Apart from one design sketch, Honda has not revealed any other information about the all-new Odyssey but the company did say that the all-new model will feature new powertrain technology, sophisticated styling and showcase a new suite of innovative features. It also claims that it offers the ultimate in family-friendly design and packaging.
