Closure Of Jalan Ampang, Sultan Ismail For KL City GP Resurfacing Until July 4
Auto NewsStarting Wednesday, July 1st until Thursday July 2, the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) will be shutting down Jalan Ampang, Jalan P. Ramlee, and Jalan Sultan Ismail from 10pm until 6am to accommodate resurfacing work.
This comes from a City Hall statement and is one of the preparation steps for the upcoming KL City Grand Prix, according to a report by Bernama, which is due to be held in the capital city for three days starting August 7.
The closure will start from the intersection of Jalan Binjai (KLCC Excursion) to Jalan Sultan Ismail. The Jalan P. Ramlee closure, however, will start from the intersection of Jalan Pinang to the intersection of Jalan Ampang and, as stated, will last for two days within that 8-hour window.
From the 3rd to the 4th of July, the news agency also reports that Jalan Sultan Ismail will be closed starting from the intersection of Jalan Raja Abdullah to the intersection of Jalan P. Ramlee as well as Jalan Ampang from the intersection of Jalan P. Ramlee to Jalan Sultan Ismail.
Appropriate diversions will be put in place to reduce the impact of traffic flow as much as possible.
