The Puchong native joined the contest at the end of last year and much to his amazement. His entry received the most likes in the public vote contest. Poon is now the proud owner of a brand new Proton Iriz. Upon seeing the contest in his Facebook news feed, Poon immediately rushed to the nearest participating car showroom, which is the Proton dealership nearest to his home. Proton was among the three participating car brands in this contest, apart from Perodua and Isuzu. "This is a surprise, a very nice surprise for me. I used to look for cars in newspaper classified ads, but now everything is so much easier via online. I can click through what I want from the tip of my fingers, I would definitely tell anyone who wants to buy a car to use this site," said Poon. The 50-year old mentioned that he was initially looking for a family car from Proton but found the Iriz instead which is a perfect car for his wife to fetch his child from school, as it is easy to handle and compact.
