Bridgestone Wins 2014 Regional Supplier Award From Toyota

Japan's leading tyre maker Bridgestone was recently awarded by Toyota for its outstanding performance as tyre supplier for Toyota's vast vehicle manufacturing and assembly operations in the Asia Pacific region.

During Toyota's Annual Supplier Conference in March 2015, hosted by Toyota Motors Asia Pacific Engineering and Manufacturing, Bridgestone Asia Pacific was awarded the 2014 Regional Supplier Overall Outstanding Performance Award.

The award recognises Bridgestone’s contribution as a key supplier towards Toyota’s operations in the Asia Pacific region, in the aspects of safety, quality, cost, delivery, engineering and management.

The award was presented by Mr Hisayuki Inoue, CEO and President of Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to Mr Shinichi Hanashi, CEO of Bridgestone Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd.
