Previously, BMW owners in Malaysia were given two-year unlimited mileage warranty and BS+RI (BMW Service + Repair Inclusive) of three years or 60,000km (whichever comes first) package. In their latest announcement, it was confirmed that all new BMW vehicles, including the BMW M range and i8 hybrid supercar, will be offered with the new package. Introducing the new offering from the premium automaker, Alan Harris, Managing Director and CEO of BMW Group Malaysia said, “At BMW, we have always made it possible for our customers to rediscover driving pleasure; from fulfilling the higest design and dynamics standards to providing our customers here with the very best opportunities to enjoy the complete premium ownership experience of a BMW vehicle. “With the new ownership program, our valued customers will be able to further enjoy the best-in-class service for their BMWs on top of an uncompromising driving experience.” The new five-year unlimited mileage warranty is manufacturer backed, and the program includes free scheduled service and maintenance of up to 100,000km. However, the new warranty program is in accordance with the BMW Condition Based Service (CBS) status, which includes a service vehicle check, engine oil service, oil filter and refill quantity.
