Only 20 units will be offered there with a suggested retail price of ¥8,790,000 (RM291,307).As the name suggests, it is based on the BMW 340i with a 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo petrol engine developing 326PS and 450Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. Handling enhancements include Adaptive M suspension and M Sports brake kit.However, the 40th Anniversary Edition receives a few changes on the exterior and interior to make it stand out beginning with a Tanzanite Blue paint finish for the body, selected from the BMW Individual personalisation program. At the front is a BMW M Performance black kidney grille while the stock wheels have been swapped out for 19-inch M light-alloy five twin-spoke wheels finished in ferric grey.The cabin features Dakota Black leather seats, satin-aluminium window mouldings, plus additional BMW Individual touches with the piano black interior trim with pearl gloss chrome highlights, and a leather dashboard.
