Audi Malaysia Launches Tech Pack Variants Of Their A4

It's taken a while for Audi Malaysia to get it in, but it's finally here. At launch, there was talk of the Tech pack option for the A4 being made available across the range, and we're finally seeing that happen. The three new variants of the A4 are the 1.4 TFSI Tech pack, the A4 2.0 TFSI S-Line + Tech pack, and the A4 2.0 TFSI quattro Tech pack.

Prior to this, prospective A4 buyers could choose between the A4 2.0 TFSI S-Line or the A4 2.0 TFSI Tech pack, but this allows them to tick both boxes. The  A4 2.0 TFSI quattro already comes equipped with S-Line equipment as it is.

What the Tech pack gets you is what makes the newer Audi products that much more appealing than contemporary rivals. The Audi virtual cockpit provides the biggest improvement, with a high definition display replacing the traditional instrument cluster.

In addition to this, there are features like advanced phone connectivity, the Matrix LED lighting system, and the Bang & Olufsen 3D Sound System. Unfortunately only the 2.0 TFSI quattro gets all of these items, as the 2.0 TFSI and 2.0 TFSI S-Line don't receive the sound system, and the 1.4 TFSI only gets the virtual cockpit. As of now, the only other Audi product with the Matrix LED lighting system is the A8L. 

The Audi 1.4 TFSI Tech pack retails for RM 243,900, which is RM 25,000 over the price without the Tech pack. The Audi 2.0 TFSI S-Line + Tech pack goes for RM 298,900, which is RM 25,000 more than either the Audi 2.0 TFSI S-Line or the Audi 2.0 TFSI Tech pack. Finally, the Audi 2.0 TFSI quattro Tech pack is going for RM 334,900, which is RM 20,000 more than the non Tech pack variant. Introductory prices for all three variants are RM 224,900, RM 274,900, and RM 314,900 respectively- while stocks last. All prices are on the road, without insurance, and inclusive of a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty.
