Use Public Transport, Rapid KL Advises Auto News Gerard | August 07, 2015 11:57 am The KL City Grand Prix weekend is upon us and Rapid KL is advising racing fans who are planning to catch the race to use public transport for a hassle-free travel into the city.With several roads closed to facilitate the race, the LRT and monorail services on Friday will run on the normal weekday schedule while Saturday and Sunday will see additional trains deployed to cope with the increased demand.Meanwhile, Rapid KL buses will operate its services based on revised routes. The following bus routes have been adjusted to avoid roads closed. They are:Bus U28 – Mulia Jaya – Bangunan Lin Ho Bus HubBus U30 – Pandan Mewah – Bangunan Lin Ho Bus HubBus U26 – Taman Bukit Indah - Bangunan Lin Ho Bus HubBus U332 – Lembah Jaya Utara – Bangunan Lin Ho Bus HubBuses that normally travel to KLCC will instead stop at Ampang Park Station before detouring to Jalan Binjai to travel on the revised routes.The Go KL Green Line will have its route modified with stops at KL Convention Centre, Hotel Novotel, Jalan Kia Peng, Pavillion/Starhill Gallery at Jalan Bukit Bintang, Bank Islam/Low Yat Plaza at Jalan Bukit Bintang, Time Square at Jalan Imbi dan Menara JCorp/ Menara AA at Jalan Tun Razak.“Commuters should be prepared for longer traveling time on the buses in view of the impact from the road closures. We strongly advise commuters to plan your journeys ahead and wisely especially those planning to visit the GLC Open Day at KL Convention Centre this weekend.
