All-New Chevrolet Malibu Open For Sale In China

The all-new Chevrolet Malibu is now available for pre-orders in China. Prices range from RMB 164,900 to RMB 199,900 (RM110,480 to RM133,930).

There are three petrol engines to choose from – 2.0-litre DVVT, 2.4-litre SIDI, and 1.6-litre EcoTec turbo. All three engines are paired to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Inside, Chevrolet says the main highlight of the all-new Malibu is its MyLink 2.1 infotainment system with an 8-inch high definition colour touch screen. The system has been tailored for the Chinese market and supports voice recognition and voice navigation in Chinese language.

The system is also compatible with Android and Apple smartphones.

The front suspension is a MacPherson type design while the rear is supported by a reinforced four-link suspension.
