Over the years, Nissan has given Leaf several improvements, most notably an upgrade to a larger lithium-ion battery pack. In 2016, customers were given an option to choose either a standard 24 kWh battery or a 30 kWh battery.An all-new Nissan Leaf is expected to be introduced later this year, most probably as a 2018 model when it goes on sale in major EV markets around the world.Apart from this sold teaser image which shows the all-new Leaf’s LED headlamps, Nissan did not reveal much else. However, you can be certain the driving range will be significantly increased.The outgoing Nissan Leaf has a claimed driving range of 200 km (New European Driving Cycle). Real-world driving range is around 150 to 170 km (with air-conditioning and headlamps in use).
