All-New 2017 Mazda CX-5 Official Prices – RM134k To RM175k

The all-new 2017 Mazda CX-5 is set to be launched soon and, as reported earlier, will be locally-assembled right from the start. Early info obtained from dealerships had quoted indicated prices from RM136k to RM182k, but we have just obtained an even more recent price list showing slightly lower prices than previously published.

A new price list dated 19 September 2017 lists on-the-road prices excluding insurance for the all-new CX-5 as follows:

• 2.0 Petrol 2WD GL – RM134,205.50
• 2.0 Petrol 2WD GLS – RM148,205.50
• 2.5 Petrol 2WD GLS – RM160,596.70
• 2.2 Diesel 2WD GLS – RM164,179.10
• 2.2 Diesel AWD GLS – RM174,779.10

Prices listed above apply for vehicles finished in solid paint. Metallic paint adds RM400, whilst higher grade premium metallic shades – of which three colours are available: Soul Red Crystal, Machine Grey, and Snowflake Pearl White – add a further RM2,000.

Additionally, buyers of the base GL model can optionally add a navigation system and leather seats for RM1,270 and RM2,900 respectively.

All three engines featured in the CX-5 are carryover units from the current model. Outputs are rated at 155 hp / 200 Nm for the 2.0-litre petrol, 185 hp / 250 Nm for the 2.5-litre petrol, and 173 hp / 420 Nm for the 2.2-litre diesel. Standard transmission for all variants is a six-speed automatic transmission.
