This coming weekend’s Carlist.my MAA DRIVE Test and Buy event in Setia Alam is an ideal way to spend the weekend with your family while you shop for your next car.

Happening at the Setia City Convention Centre on May-13 and May-14, the event will allow buyers to test drive and compare over 50 different vehicle models from 15 different brands in one location.

There will be section for used car trade-ins. Interested in buying a new car but am not too sure about what your current car is worth? Drive your car to the event and have one of our two independent partner used-car dealers to give you a quotation on your car’s value.

Visitors are encouraged to visit to Volkswagen brand pavilion, where there is a wide range of activities planned out, to allow you to experience the superior performance, active safety as well as agile handling of Volkswagen in ways that you normally wouldn’t be able to in a regular showroom visit test drive.

Volkswagen Driving Experience

A wide range of Volkswagen models, from the entry model Polo 1.6 MPI hatchback, to the 1.2 TSI turbocharged Vento sedan Highline and 1.4 TSI Jetta, right up to the 1.4 TSI Tiguan Highline with its first in-class full-LCD Active Information Display instrument panel, and the 1.8 TSI Passat Comfortline, are available for you to try out on a dedicated area.

There, you will experience the agility of Volkswagen models first-hand as you attempt a slalom course and simulated emergency obstacle avoidance, as well as emergency braking.

Separately, you can also test drive these Volkswagen models on public roads, to better feel its superior cabin quietness and ride comfort. Volkswagen Polo P

Driving schools teach you the most basic of driving skills but they don’t equip young drivers with sufficient technical skills to handle modern day traffic situation. The Volkswagen Polo P programme is aimed at young drivers, equipping them with simple to pick-up but essential defensive driving skills.

In this programme, participants will be thought on basics of correct seating position and steering wheel control techniques, as well correct use of vision.
